Data Deletion Request

What this page is for
You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains exactly how to make that request, what we'll remove, and the narrow set of records we're legally required to keep. This is the substance of the Delete your data right described in our Privacy Policy.
Express Parts Depot does not use Facebook Login or any social sign-in, so there's no account to disconnect — the only data we may hold is what you gave us when you made or discussed an offer (your email address, the messages you sent through the on-page widget, and your order details).
How to request deletion
Pick whichever is easiest — both reach the same shop inbox:
- Open the corner widget at the bottom-right of any product page, click Start a conversation, and enter the email address you used with us.
- In your message, say "Please delete my data" and include the email address tied to your order (so we can find the right records).
- That's it — we'll confirm receipt within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days, then send you a final confirmation through the widget.
Prefer email? Write to support@expresspartsdepot.us with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" from the email address on your order.
No account, no order with us? If you only saw our ad or visited the site, the only trace is anonymous analytics/advertising cookies that aren't tied to your name. Clearing your browser cookies removes those, and you can opt out of ad tracking in Meta's ad settings and Google's opt-out.
What we delete
- Your email address and any contact details you gave us
- The conversation history and messages you sent through the corner widget
- Marketing-attribution data tied to your offer (referrer, ad source, approximate location)
- Any offer or inquiry that did not result in a completed, paid order
What we have to keep
For completed, paid orders, US tax and accounting law (IRS recordkeeping) requires us to retain the transaction record for at least 7 years. In those cases we delete or redact everything we can — contact details, message content, marketing data — and keep only the minimum financial record of the sale (order number, amount, date). Once the retention period passes, that record is purged too.
Payment card data is never stored on our servers in the first place — it's handled entirely by Stripe. To delete records held by Stripe or our shipping carriers, you'd contact those processors directly; our Privacy Policy lists who they are.
Deleting your data closes out any open offers and forfeits access to order history or return tracking tied to that email. If you have an active order or an open return, finish that first — once the data's gone, we can't look it up.
Questions
Anything unclear about what we hold or how deletion works, open the corner widget on any product page and ask — we're a family-run shop and we read every message. Full detail on what we collect and why lives in our Privacy Policy.
